MoU with Hum Network Limited, Pakistan

The Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design & Heritage, Sindh and Hum Network Limited, Pakistan signed MoU to make positive social contributions in Pakistan for acquiring services and to collaborate and provide media related trainings for the faculties and students related to Photography, Cinematography, and production house operations on 10th January 2023 at Hum Network Limited, Islamabad.

The MoU also aims to offer internship programs for sophomores to senior batches and to provide opportunities for excursion of media house, sites and participate in events of mutual interest.

The Vice Chancellor, Aror University Sindh, Prof. Dr. Samreen Hussain (T.I) and President, HNL, Ms. Sultana Siddiqui discussed about the road map on how to jointly collaborate for the performance of this MoU through utilization of their best resources. Dr. Pir Suhail Sarhandi, Registrar Aror University Sindh, Mr. Zahid Hussain Soomro, Lecturer, Ms. Preety Dohmeja, Lecturer Aror University Sindh along with Mr. Duraid Qureshi, CEO and Mr. Badar Ikram SVP HNL, Pakistan also joined the ceremony.

The MoU has also opened new horizons for both students & faculty especially the Faculty of Photography, Fine & Performing arts and Faculty of Design. This MoU will provide hands-on opportunities to the students and faculty of the Aror University Sindh through internships, studio visits, shooting & cinematography thus uplifting the art and media related programs and abreast those with professional skills required to excel on regional, national and international level.

MoU with Wuhan Textile University in China

Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design & Heritage in Sindh has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Wuhan Textile University in China.

The agreement aims to facilitate the exchange of undergraduate students, staff, and faculty members between the two universities. Students who are studying Textile & Fashion Design can benefit from fully funded/paid internships during their 3rd and final year, and scholarships are also available by mutual agreement between the universities.

Additionally, short courses based on advanced textile and fashion and related disciplines are available for both students and faculty members.

MoU with Dalian Polytechnic University, China

Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design, and Heritage in Sindh has reached a new milestone. The inaugural memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed in an online meeting with Dalian Polytechnic University, China, held on March 31, 2023, at 12 PM.

Chaired by the Honorable Vice Chancellor, the participants from Aror University included Dr. Zamir Abro, Dean; Dr. Pir Suhail Sarhandi, Registrar; Dr. Sabab Ali Shah, Musadiq Badar, and Najeeb Jatoi, all Assistant Professors.

From Dalian Polytechnic University, the meeting was overseen by Vice President an Qingda and attended by Wang Shang, Dean; Wang Sahng, Vice-Dean; Yu Yan, and other school officials.

The goal of this MoU is to promote the exchange of undergraduate students, staff, and faculty members between the universities. It will encompass teacher training, short courses, capacity building, and faculty development programs.

By mutual agreement, Aror University students will have the opportunity to secure fully funded internships during their studies. Furthermore, faculty, staff, and graduate students can be nominated for fully funded Chinese Government Scholarships.

MoU with Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, Spain

We are delighted to announce the successful signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between two esteemed institutions: Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, Spain, and Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design & Heritage in Sukkur, Sindh, Pakistan. The MoU, signed by the Vice Chancellors of both institutions at a ceremony in Aror University Sukkur, represents a strong commitment to enhancing the quality and diversity of academic offerings.

MoU with Belarusian National University of Technology, Russia

Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design & Heritage Sukkur inks consent of mutual interest with the Belarusian National University of Technology, Russia deemed it possible to start the preparation of a Cooperation Agreement in the next 06 Months over different academic initiatives. The agreement was signed by the Worthy Vice Chancellor of Aror University Sukkur, Prof. Dr. Zahid Hussain Khand in the presence of Prof. Dr. Dobrego K.V. from Belarusian National University, Russia with his team. Other attendees were Dean FoD, Prof. Dr. Zamir Abro, along with Dr. Sabab Ali Shah, Mr. Najeeb Jatoi and Syed Shaiq Musavi-Deputy Registrar. The agreement was signed during the 24th Textile Asia International Biannual Trade Fair at Expo Centre, Karachi on March 12, 2023.

MoU with The University of Management and Technology UMT Lahore

This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is established between the University of Management and Technology Lahore (UMT), Lahore Punjab, and Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design and Heritage Sindh on June 16, 2023. This MoU aims to facilitate academic partnership and collaboration between the institutions involved.

The primary objectives of this MoU are
  1. a) To foster academic cooperation and exchange between UMT and AUADH.
  2. b) To promote joint research, development, and scholarly activities.
  3. c) To enhance the sharing of knowledge, expertise, and resources.
  4. d) To facilitate faculty and student mobility programs.
  5. e) To explore opportunities for joint conferences, workshops, and seminars.
  6. f) To develop joint academic programs, if deemed appropriate
Aror University students may create mini thesis while completing their third and final years of study, subject to the mutual approval of the two universities.
Furthermore, professors from both universities may suggest staff and students for intensive courses covering cutting-edge technology and related fields. Faculty from the two universities can teach and learn from one another in this way. This MoU will come into effect on the date of signing and will remain valid for five (5) years. It can be extended or modified by mutual agreement between the institutions.

A review of the collaboration will be conducted annually to assess the partnership’s progress, effectiveness, and relevance. Based on the review, the institutions may revise or update this MoU to reflect changing priorities and needs.

MoU with the Sukkur Chambers of Commerce and Industry (SCCI)

Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design, and Heritage Sukkur (AUADHS) is thrilled to sign a Memorandum of Understanding on 4th September 2023 with the Sukkur Chambers of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) at Sukkur. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in the pursuit of fostering entrepreneurship, innovation, and cultural preservation in the Sukkur region.

The partnership between AUADHS and SSCI is set to leverage the extensive networks and resources of both organizations to enhance educational, research, and developmental activities in the Sukkur region. The MoU was signed between Prof. Dr. Zahid Hussain Khand, Vice-Chancellor of Aror University Sukkur, and Mr. Abdul Mohamin Khan, President SCCI.

Key initiatives of the partnership include access to an expansive network, support for entrepreneurship and business development, internships, industrial visits, job Placement, academic and cultural collaboration, revival of cultural heritage, and training and skill Development.

MoU with Sindh Rural Support Organization (SRSO)

Sukkur, Sindh, September 14, 2023 — Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design and Heritage (AUAADH) Sukkur and the Sindh Rural Support Organization (SRSO) Sukkur signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zahid Hussain Khand of AUADH and CEO Mr. Dittal Kalhoro of SRSO formalized the partnership at the SRSO Complex in Sukkur, Sindh. This MoU focuses on collaborative efforts to preserve heritage, revive local art and handicrafts, provide entrepreneurship support, offer capacity-building initiatives, and empower women in the region. Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design and Heritage Sukkur and Sol Plaatje University Kimberley, South Africa signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 27th Sep 2023. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zahid Hussain Khand of AUADH and Vice Chancellor Prof. Andrew M. Crouch of SPUK establish a linkage for the betterment of both universities.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design, and Heritage Sukkur and Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) on October 10, 2023, at OGDCL House, Islamabad. Speaking at the signing ceremony, Prof.Dr. Zahid Hussain Khand Vice-Chancellor, of Aror University, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating that, “This MOU opens up exciting opportunities for our students and faculty to engage with a leading organization like OGDCL. The MoU aligns with our vision and mission to promote art, architecture, design, and heritage, and we look forward to the positive impact of this partnership will have on our students and the broader community.”
