Zamir Ahmed Abro received his master’s degree from the Zhejiang Sci-Tech University in Hangzhou, China, and his doctorate from the Department of Knitting and Clothing Design at the Donghua University in Shanghai, China. From 2005 to 2008, he was employed at Sapphire Textile Mills Limited. From 2009 to 2022, later he joined Associate Professor of the Department of Textile and Fashion Design at BUITEMS in Quetta, Pakistan. He presently holds the position of Professor at the Faculty of Design at the Aror University of Art, Architecture, and Heritage, Sukkur, Sindh. In addition to 20 SCI papers and a second corresponding author, he has authored 12 SCI papers as the first author. His area of research is designing and creating athletic wear and smart clothing made by using 3D printing in the fashion and textile industry
