Dr. Akhtar Hussain Lashari was born on 1st February 1984 at Khairpur Mirs, Sindh, Pakistan, He took his basic education from his hometown and bachelor’s degree in Zoology from Sindh University, Jamshoro, Pakistan, while MS in Environmental Science from International Islamic University, Islamabad, Pakistan. Thereafter he was meritoriously selected under Chinese Government Scholarship funded by Govt. of China with Specialization in Biodiversity governance. He has published many Research articles in HEC’s ‘W’ category or impact factor journals. Presently has more than 12 research publications mostly in the field of Biodiversity governance and management in Pakistan and with China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, Biodiversity Action Plan, Biodiversity policies (Wildlife and fisheries), role of women in biodiversity conservation and governance and, biodiversity associated local community beliefs. Currently he is employed at Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design & Heritage, Sukkur, Sindh.
