The Department of Environmental Sciences at Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design, and Heritage, Sukkur arranged a study tour to Fauji Fertilizer Company (FFC), Mirpur Mathelo. This study trip shows our commitment to provide students with real-world exposure to leading industrial practices.
This trip aimed to bridge the gap of Industry and Academia for a Sustainable Future. The study tour served as a significant step towards fostering collaboration between academia and industry. Students gained an in-depth understanding of FFC’s operational workflows, product development processes, and cutting-edge environmental management systems, which are benchmarks in the fertilizer industry.
The visit was led by Dr. Sabab Ali Shah, Chairman of the Department of Environmental Sciences, who highlighted the importance of integrating industrial expertise with academic learning to better prepare students for the dynamic challenges of the environmental sector. Such partnerships play a vital role in equipping our students with the skills and insights needed to contribute meaningfully to sustainable development.
