The two day workshop entitled “Building Bridges: Fostering Tolerance & Inclusivity Among Youth” focused on peace, tolerance, constitutional awareness, parliamentary functions, cultural and ethnic diversity in Pakistan, and future planning for a more harmonious society.

The event featured distinguished keynote speakers, including renowned scholar and writer Mr. Jami Chandio, Dr. Ali Raza Lashari, and Mr. Deleep Doshi, who delivered insightful sessions on various aspects of peacebuilding and social cohesion.

During the training, panelists and speakers emphasized that Sindh is the land of Sufism, peace, and tolerance, and its rich cultural heritage promotes harmony among different communities. Mr. Mohammad Amir Rana, President of the Pakistan Institute for Peace Studies (PIPS), extended his gratitude to the administration of Aror University, Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur, Aror Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Skill Development University Khairpur, Agricultural College Khairpur, and Forman Christian College University Lahore for their support in promoting this initiative.

Key attendees included Ms. Uzama Memon, Students Counselor Aror University, Mr. Mohammad Murtaza, Project Manager (PIPS), Mr. Imran Mulhtiyar, Media Advisor, and Mr. Farnood Alam, Columnist and Journalist.

The training concluded with a commitment from students and participants to play an active role in fostering peace and tolerance within their communities and Campuses.
