The 1st meeting of Aror University’s Institutional Quality Circle (IQC) was successfully held on August 4, 2025, under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Prof. Zahid Hussain Khand. The meeting was attended by IQC secretory, Director of QEC Dr. Akhtar Hussain Lashari and IQC Members such as Registrar, Deans, Heads of Departments, and AU Student Council Representative, aimed to reinforce academic excellence and quality assurance standards. The session focused on advancing academic excellence through robust quality assurance mechanisms. Dr. Lashari presented the QEC’s Course/Teachers Evaluation reports along with its academic performance. Dr. Lashari also presented HEC’s Quality Assurance Framework, including the Pakistan Precepts, Standards, and Guidelines (PSG-2023), and discussed key components such as the Review of Institutional Performance and Enhancement (RIPE) and Program Review for Effectiveness and Enhancement (PREE). The meeting also finalized the Institutional Performance Review (IPR) and PREE Committees to ensure compliance with HEC guidelines. Strategies for continuous improvement in academic programs and institutional performance were deliberated, with actionable steps assigned to relevant stakeholders. The meeting concluded with directives to circulate the QEC findings to all departments and schedule follow-up reviews, reaffirming the university’s commitment to continuous improvement in alignment with HEC guidelines. The session ended with a formal vote of thanks to the Chair, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zahid Hussain Khand.
