Dr. Khalid Hussain is an Assistant Professor in Artificial Intelligence & Multimedia Gaming / Cyber Security at Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design & Heritage, Sukkur, Pakistan.

He received his B.S. in Telecommunication from the University of Sindh, Jamshoro (2009), his M.Phil. in Computer Science from Isra University, Hyderabad (2015), and his Ph.D. in Optical Engineering from the State Key Laboratory of Information Photonics and Optical Communications (IPOC), Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT), China (2022).

After completing his Ph.D., Dr. Hussain served as a Research Adjunct Lecturer at Huanggang Normal University, China (2022–2023). He later worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), Netherlands (2023–2025), focusing on optical–wireless integration, real-time optical control, and AI-driven orchestration for next-generation 5G/6G networks.

He has published more than 40 research papers in leading international journals and conferences, and his research interests include optical and wireless networks, UAV communications, SDN/NFV, edge and cloud computing, and AI-enabled network optimization.
