A book talk on Dr. Qasim Sodhar’s book titled “Feminism and the Struggle of Sindhyani Tehreek” was held in the Senate Hall of the FOH Building at Aror University.
During the discussion, Dr. Qasim Sodhar, the author, explained that the book explores various orientations of feminism as well as the history of feminist movements in the subcontinent and Pakistan. However, the primary focus is on the socio-political role of the Sindhyani Tehreek throughout history.
Mr. Habib Ali connected his M.Phil thesis to the book and provided an in-depth discussion of the different waves of feminism.
