𝐀𝐫𝐨𝐫 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐮𝐤𝐤𝐮𝐫 𝐎𝐛𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐊𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐢𝐫 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐃𝐚𝐲 – 𝟐𝟕𝐭𝐡 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫

Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design & Heritage, Sukkur solemnly observed Black Day to express unwavering solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IIOJK) and to reaffirm support for their right to self-determination.

The event commenced with a Solidarity Walk, joined by students, faculty, and staff, symbolizing unity and collective resolve. The participants then gathered at the University Logo Area, where the program began with Recitation from the Holy Quran.

Dr Qasim Sodhar, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the historical and political background of the Kashmir issue, highlighting the enduring struggle of the Kashmiri people and Pakistan’s continued moral and diplomatic support.

All attendees observed one minute of silence in remembrance of the martyrs of Kashmir, followed by an impactful speech by Ms. Moomal Hussain, a student of Fashion Design, who passionately expressed the sentiments of the youth toward the plight of Kashmiris.

The event concluded with a closing address by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr Zahid Hussain Khand, who emphasized the importance of awareness, solidarity, and peaceful advocacy for the just cause of Kashmir.

The ceremony ended with prayers for peace, freedom, and justice for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
