Five Days of Creativity, Leadership & Innovation for Peace
Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design & Heritage, Sukkur successfully implemented the Aror Creativity & Innovation Program (ACIP) from 1st to 5th January, under the EU-funded project “Leveraging Mobile Technology for Empathy & Social Inclusion to Prevent Violent Extremism,” with the generous support of UNODC and NACTA.
Over five intensive days, students and youth participants engaged in interactive workshops, group labs, and dialogue-driven sessions focused on Leadership,Community Development, and Countering Violence through Creativity and Innovation. The program created a dynamic space for critical thinking, collaboration, and youth-led problem solving aimed at promoting peace and social inclusion.
The learning journey was led by a distinguished team of facilitators and mentors, including Prof. Syed Hussain Hyder (Team Lead ACIP), Prof. Dr. Atif Rahim, Mr. Umer Farooque , Mr. Bilal Patel, Ms. Humna and Syed Shaiq Musavi (Project Lead ACIP), whose expertise, guidance, and engagement played a vital role in shaping meaningful discussions and innovative ideas throughout the workshops.
The program concluded with a Closing Ceremony on 5th January, graced by Dr. Muhammad Amjad Saqib, Founder and Chairman of Akhuwat Foundation, and Mr. Abid Saleem Qureshi, Commissioner Sukkur, as distinguished speakers. Their addresses inspired participants to embrace empathy, social responsibility, and community-driven action as pathways toward sustainable peace and development.
ACIP stands as a reflection of Aror University’s commitment to empowering youth, strengthening creative leadership, and contributing to national and global efforts for preventing violent extremism through inclusive and innovative approaches.
