January 23, 2026-The Department of Civil Engineering successfully held its 2nd Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) Meeting on Friday, January 23, 2026. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Narain Das Bheel (Convener, IAB) and attended by our esteemed faculty members and industry experts.

The following members participated in the meeting:

Dr. Muneer Ahmed, Dr. Muhammad Tahir, Dr. Mujtaba Hassan (Secretary), Engr. Dr. Sayed Ragib Abbas Shah, Engr. Javed Younis Oupal, along with special invitees Engr. Mashood Rehman, Engr. Sadaqat Hussain, and Engr. Nizakat Ali.

Key agenda items included review of Program Educational Objectives (PEOs) and Program Learning Objectives (PLOs), mapping of PEOs with the departmentโ€™s mission and PLOs, review of curriculum of civil engineering department based on current industry demands, evaluation of final-year project relevance to industry needs, and discussion on consultancy and testing services for effective utilization of departmental expertise and facilities.

The Department acknowledges the valuable guidance and constructive recommendations provided by the IAB members towards enhancing academic quality and strengthening industryโ€“academia linkages.
