Sukkur, February 28, 2026 โ Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design & Heritage, Sukkur proudly hosted the Laptop Distribution Ceremony under the Prime Ministerโs Youth Laptop Scheme Phase-IV (2025), followed by the distribution of scholarship cheques of Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal, Mari Energies, and top-scoring students in Entry Test.
In his welcome address, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zahid Hussain Khand emphasized the Universityโs commitment to cultivating practical skills and competencies among students rather than merely awarding paper degrees. He expressed gratitude to Prime Minister of Pakistan & Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) for laptop scheme, also thanked to Syed Murad Ali Shah CM Sindh, Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah, MNA and PPP leadership of Sukkur for continuous support and help.
The Chief Guest, Syed Farukh Ahmed Shah, Member of Provincial Assembly, commended the remarkable progress made by the University in a short span of time and appreciated the leadership of the Vice Chancellor and his team for their dedicated efforts.
The ceremony was attended by prominent dignitaries, including Muhammad Khalid Kakazai, President of the Sukkur Chamber of Commerce; Mr. Faisal Akram SSP Motorway Police Sukkur; Dr. Zahid Channar, Chairman, BISE Sukkur; Muhammad Dittal Kalhoro, CEO, SRSO; Mr. Shabir Memon, Director of Pakistan Sweet Home Sukkur; and Mr. Aijaz Ahmed Palh, Executive Director of the Sindh Solid Waste Management Board, along with other notable figures from across Sukkur.
The event concluded with the distribution of souvenirs and a group photograph, reaffirming the Universityโs dedication to academic excellence, digital empowerment, and youth development across Sindh.
