Zafarullah is a committed academic professional currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Environmental Science at the Faculty of FATP, Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design, and Heritage, Sukkur. He holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering Science & Technology, Nawabshah, and a Bachelor’s in Agricultural Engineering from Sindh Agricultural University, Tando Jam.

In addition to his academic background, Zafarullah has gained valuable hands-on experience through internships and training. He completed a six-week internship on “Flow Regulation and Monitoring of Kotri Barrage” at the Weir Sub-Division in Jamshoro and a two-week internship on “coal sampling and analysis” at the Fuel Research Centre, PCSIR, Karachi. These experiences expanded his technical expertise in resource and environmental management.

He has worked on several notable projects, including the “Assessment and Identification of Medical Waste Management Problems in Healthcare Facilities of Nawabshah using GPS and GIS Technology” and the “Geo-Referenced Tree Population Database of Sindh Agriculture University Tandojam Campus”. He also conducted a “Techno-Economic Feasibility Study of Integrated Medical Hazardous Waste Management” for Shaheed Benazirabad District under the Sindh Solid Waste Management Board.

With his strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in GIS and environmental technologies, Zafarullah is a motivated educator and researcher. He continues to contribute to both teaching and research, making a meaningful impact on environmental science and engineering.
