Engr. Zohaib Ali is a dedicated researcher and academic professional currently serving as a
Lecturer at Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design and Heritage, Sukkur. He holds a
Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the U.S.-Pakistan Center for Advanced
Studies in Water (USPCAS-W), Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro,
and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering
and Technology, Nawabshah. Prior to his current role, he gained extensive experience as a Lab
Engineer at Aror University and served as a Research Assistant at USPCAS-W, where he
contributed to significant teaching, research, and laboratory management initiatives.
His professional journey includes supervising laboratory activities, conducting environmental experiments, and teaching courses such as Environmental Physics, Water Quality Management, Wastewater Treatment Technologies and Air Pollution Monitoring & control. He has been actively involved in high-impact research projects funded by HEC, focusing on Indus River pollution tracking, water circular economy frameworks, and the development of advanced treatment systems.
His research interests include nature-based treatment systems, the fabrication and surface modification of nanofiber membranes via electrospinning, and the removal of emerging contaminants from water and wastewater. He is a Registered Engineer with the Pakistan Engineering Council and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. His research contributions are documented in several high-impact journals, with publications in Polymer Bulletin (Springer), Water Environment Research (Wiley), and Silicon (Springer).
Engr. Zohaib Ali possesses extensive expertise in operating advanced analytical instrumentation, including GC-MS, ICP-MS, SEM, FTIR, TOC Analyzer, and UV-Vis Spectrophotometry for complex environmental characterization.
