Dr. Faheem Akhtar Rajput is a distinguished computer scientist whose academic and professional journey spans nearly two decades in higher education and research. His areas of expertise include machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, digital image processing, data science, computer networks, network security, and online social networks. He received his PhD in Software Engineering from Beijing University of Technology, China (2020), where his research focused on advanced applications of data science and deep learning. Prior to this, he completed his MS in Computer Science from FAST-NU Karachi (2012) and a BS in Computer Science from Hamdard University Karachi (2008).
In 2025, Dr. Rajput joined Aror University as a Full Professor (BPS-21) and Chairman of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Multi-Media & Gaming (MMG). He is currently on lien from Sukkur IBA University (2013–2025), where he rose through the ranks to serve as Associate Professor (BPS-20) in the Department of Computer Science. During his tenure at Sukkur IBA, he undertook significant leadership roles, including Provost (Hostels), ABET/NCEAC Accreditation Coordinator, and Director of the Kandhkot Campus.
