Habib Rahman is  a  visual artist and dedicated art educator residing in Sukkur. Born on November 7, 1988, in Nasirabad, Sindh, he boasts over thirteen years of professional experience that bridges both educational development and studio practice. His primary focus lies in fostering creativity and critical thinking among students.

Currently, Habib serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Visual Arts at Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design, and Heritage, Sukkur. His career also includes significant roles as an Assistant Professor and Senior Lecturer at the Karachi School of Art, as well as teaching positions at Indus University and Indus Valley School of Art & Architecture. His journey in education began as a Facilitator in the Continuing Education Programme at Indus Valley School of Art & Architecture.

 Habib has showcased his work in numerous prestigious exhibitions across the country, such as “Art for Humanity” at O Art Space, Lahore, and “Seen/Unseen” at Full Circle Art Gallery, Karachi. His curatorial expertise is highlighted by exhibitions like “1st Dot” at IVS Art Gallery and “The Highway” at VM Art Gallery.

Habib holds a Master’s degree in Art Education from Beaconhouse National University and a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from the Centre of Excellence in Art and Design, Jamshoro. His participation in the Taza Tareen Art Residency at Vasl Artist’s Collective, Lahore, has been a significant influence on his artistic journey.

Throughout his career, Habib has been a guest speaker and jury member at various institutions, earning awards and appreciation for his contributions to the field. With strong organizational skills, a commitment to excellence, and an adaptable teaching approach, Habib continues to inspire and mentor the next generation of artists while actively contributing to the art community through his professional and academic efforts.
