Engr. Mashood Rehman is one of the founding faculty members of the Department of Civil Engineering at Aror University, Sukkur. With a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering and over three years of academic and commercial laboratory as well as field testing experience, he brings both technical depth and practical insight to his teaching and research.
His research interests focus on sustainable cementing materials for various types of concrete, as well as other advancements in fiber-reinforced concrete, lightweight concrete, and geopolymer concrete. He is particularly interested in studying the mechanical behavior and durability of concrete and structures—both with and without sustainable materials—under extreme conditions such as exposure to acids, sulfates, fire, blast, and impact loadings, using both experimental methods and advanced simulation tools.
Mr. Rehman is committed to advancing engineering education, along with bridging the gap between theory and field practices and fostering a culture of innovation and sustainability in infrastructure development.
