Shafique Ahmed Khan has done MSc and MPhil in History from Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU), Islamabad in 2011 and 2016 respectively. He is currently enrolled in PhD History at University of Karachi. During MPhil research, he worked on the personality and politico-religious philosophy of a renowned Muslim Philosopher Nizam-ul-Mulk Tusi, and produced dissertation, titled ‘Political Thought of Nizam-ul-Mulk Tusi: An Assessment’. He possesses seven years of teaching experience in different educational institution from school to university level. He joined University of Sindh Jamshoro as a Teaching/Research Assistant in 2017 and worked till November 2022. During his tenure he taught variety of courses related to the History of South Asia, History of Sindh, History of Islam, Muslim Historiography and History of the different regions of the world. He has also served for two years as a visiting faculty at SZABST Hyderabad Campus from 2021-22.  A part from teaching experience, he has one year of research experience as well. He worked as a research assistant in the Thematic Research Grant Project 2019 (HEC) under the Supervision of Dr. Irfan Ahmed Shaikh. He has got four research publications in different national and international research journals.
