Directorate of Information Technology
Abdul Jabbar Shah is a dedicated and impact-driven software engineer and technology lead with deep expertise in full-stack development (MERN), data visualization, and AI-enabled applications. He currently serves as Web Developer & IT Lead at Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design & Heritage (Sukkur), where he oversees the university’s digital ecosystem—including the official website, Learning Management System (LMS), applicant tracking, and admissions platforms—focusing on reliability, security, and user-centric design.

Pursuing his passion for advanced technologies, Abdul earned a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Sukkur IBA University in 2025, building on his B.S. in Computer Science from the same institution (2022). During his studies he engaged in ACM activities, hackathons, and competitive programming, and complemented his learning with targeted credentials such as Red Hat Academy (Program Learner), Google’s Introduction to Generative AI, AWS ML Foundations, and MongoDB Basics.

Abdul’s industry experience spans education, civic tech, and product startups. As a MERN Stack Developer on a JICA-backed national initiative (2022–2025), he engineered interactive dashboards and administrative tooling to support large-scale survey operations and decision-making. He has also served as a Full-Stack Developer with MarketPlug (UK) and XCDM Limited, delivering end-to-end features across React/Next.js front ends and Node/Express APIs, designing MongoDB data models, integrating third-party services, implementing role-based authentication and security hardening, and improving delivery through CI/CD and containerized deployments. Earlier, he contributed to e-commerce performance as a Site Speed Optimization Developer with Ecom Experts (Shopify Plus).

His portfolio includes the STA-DEEP CPD Online Portal delivered to SELD Government of Sindh (supported by the EU, UNICEF, PITE, and Sukkur IBA University), a national data-visualization platform under JICA, MarketPlug’s XaaS Super App modules, “Captain Climate” (an interactive climate-literacy app), a peer-to-peer event management application, a web-based school management system, and the NIKEL TOKEN prototype. Abdul remains committed to building scalable systems that improve education and public services, mentoring teams, and thoughtfully applying modern tooling to turn ideas into impactful digital products.
