The Team from department of Civil Engineering, Aror University, Sukkur, carried out the inspection of one of a client’s road project in Sukkur from start to end, evaluating the quality of materials, degree of compaction, and thickness of pavement layers as part of the university’s commercial laboratory testing facility.
Using standard field and laboratory techniques supported by state-of-the-art equipment available at Aror University, the activities were supervised by Engr. Mashood Rehman (Lecturer, Civil Engineering), along with Engr. Mubasir Ali (Lab Engineer, Civil Engineering) and the other laboratory staff.
The students of Civil Engineering department actively engaged with the team, gaining field exposure to testing procedures and assisting in laboratory tests under supervision by applying their learned skills in laboratory practical courses. This initiative reflects Aror University’s commitment to blending academic learning with industry practices while serving the community.
