Anti-Drug Tobacco Committee organized the plantation drive awareness walk on May 10, 2023, from the Faculty of Design building to the Main Gate of the University. Worthy Vice Chancellor, Aror University Sukkur, Prof. Dr. Engr. Zahid Hussain Khand, along with the Registrar Dr. Pir Suhail Sarhandi (Convener ADTC), Dr. Zameer Abro (Professor & Dean FoD), Dr. Samina Shaikh Zia (Associate Professor & look-after Dean FP2A), Dr. Javeria Manzoor Shaikh (Associate Professor & faculty in-charge FATP) and Dr. Qasim Sodhar (Assistant Professor & faculty in-charge FoH) instigated the drive and inaugurated the plantation drive (One Tree One Person) for the #GreeningOurCampus ceremony by planting the tree with students, faculty, and staff.
The faculty, staff, and students wholeheartedly participated in this noble cause.
Addressing the occasion, Vice Chancellor Aror University Sukkur, Prof. Dr. Zahid Hussain Khand highlighted the importance of a sustainable green environment and said that planting trees will result in Ten Trees One Person, lessening the global warming effect.
