On May 3, 2024, the 2nd Board of Studies meeting for the BS Tourism and Hospitality program was held at Aror University Sukkur. Dr. Qasim Sodhar, Head of the Heritage Faculty, chaired the meeting focusing on realigning the course scheme following HEC’s new undergraduate policy and the institution’s vision and mission. Among the attendees were Mr. Zahid Ali Mahar and Mr. Rashid Ali from the university, as well as esteemed experts including Prof. Dr. Anas Mahmud Arif, Chairman Department of Tourism and Hospitality, Hazara University, Mansehra, Dr. Zulfiqar Ali Kalhoro from Pakistan Institute of Economic Development, Islamabad, Dr. Ghulam Murtaza Lahbar, and Mr. Raheel Sarwar, all participated remotely via Zoom.
During the meeting, Mr. Rashid Ali presented the proposed course scheme for the Tourism and Hospitality program. Subsequently, the experts shared their valuable insights regarding the integration of the new policy, all of whom appreciated the structure of proposed course scheme. After detailed discussions, the meeting concluded with a note of gratitude from Dr. Qasim Sodhar, acknowledging the contributions of all attendees.
