November 13, 2024โ Chief Guest: Syed Kumail Hyder Shah, Chairman, District Council Sukkur inaugurated the Outdoor Sports Area and Three Days Ceramic Design Workshop
The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome by Prof. Dr Zahid Hussain Khand, Vice Chancellor, Aror University Sukkur, who highlighted the universityโs recent achievements and ongoing initiatives. In his address, Dr. Khand shared the university’s vision for development and progress, including the establishment of Aror Testing Services, Aror Consultancy Services, and Aror Design House. He also emphasized the “Go Green Aror” initiative and the universityโs recognition as Pakistanโs first paperless institution (going to be) through SAP and e-marking systems.
Dr. Khand further appealed to Syed Kumail Hyder Shah for support in two key community-focused projects: the establishment of an Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Station and the development of a Biogas Plant that would provide free LPG to Rohri and surrounding areas.
In his remarks, Syed Kumail Hyder Shah praised Dr. Khandโs visionary leadership and the positive impact of these initiatives on both the university and community. He expressed his commitment to supporting Aror Universityโs ongoing and future projects, and announced cash prizes for the top-performing students and faculty members who will excel during the Ceramic Design Workshop.
The event concluded with a symbolic gesture of appreciation as the Chief Guest was presented with traditional souvenirs in recognition of his support and contribution to the universityโs mission.
