On November 6, 2025, a seminar titled “A Roadmap to CSS/PMS Success” was held to raise awareness about competitive exams. The session was moderated by Mr. Zahid Ali Mahar, a lecturer in History.
Prof. Dr. Zahid Hussain Khand, the Vice-Chancellor, delivered a welcome speech that focused on various career paths. Following this, the keynote speaker, Mr. Manzoor Ahmed Kanrani, Deputy Commissioner of Ghotki, gave an in-depth presentation on the significance of CSS/PMS and other competitive exams. He emphasized the importance of reading and writing skills in preparing for these exams.
Prof. Ghulam Hussain Maganhar highlighted the vital role of the English language in successfully tackling competitive exams and provided detailed instructions on essay and précis writing.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks and closing remarks from Dr. Qasim Sodhar, Chairman In-Charge of the Department of History, Pakistan Studies, and Archaeology. The event wrapped up with a Q&A session and the distribution of a souvenir to the guest speaker as a token of respect and appreciation.
