A lecture titled “Ceramic Studies in the Indus: Its Significance and Perspectives” was delivered by Dr. Akinori Uesugi, a Professor in the Department of Cultural Properties at Tsurumi University in Japan. During his presentation, Dr. Uesugi shared his experiences exploring various archaeological sites in Sindh, KPK, and other regions of South Asia. He emphasized the importance of the ceramic pottery discovered at these sites.

Dr. Takehiro, Associate Professor at the Department of Archaeology and Ethnology, Japan was also present with Dr. Uesugi.

Following the lecture, a meeting took place between the Japanese delegation, the Vice-Chancellor, and faculty members from the Faculty of Heritage and the Faculty of Design. In this meeting, various avenues for collaboration were discussed.
