December 14, 2024-The study trip was organized by the Faculty of Heritage at Aror University Sukkur, allowing students to visit Faiz Mahal, Kot Diji Fort, and the Kot Diji Museum under the guidance of faculty members. This visit provided a valuable opportunity to explore the rich cultural and historical heritage of Sindh. At Faiz Mahal, students were captivated by the exquisite architecture and artistic legacy of the Talpur dynasty. The tour of Kot Diji Fort emphasized its strategic military importance, showcasing its impressive defensive design, which was constructed by Mir Sohrab Khan Talpur. The final destination, Kot Diji Museum, offered insights into the pre-Harappan Kot Diji civilization through displays of ancient pottery, tools, and artifacts, establishing a connection to Sindh’s prehistoric past. Overall, the trip enhanced students’ understanding of heritage conservation, historical continuity, and the necessity of protecting these cultural treasures for future generations.
