The Vice Chancellor, Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design and Heritage, Sukkur, Prof. Dr. Zahid Hussain Khand attended a meeting arranged by Mr. Hamir Soomro at Indus Valley School (IVS) of Art and Architecture Karachi to develop laison and collaboration within Art institutions of Sindh.
The meeting was also attended by the Vice Chancellor, SABSU, Prof. Dr. Arbella Bhutto. Other patricipants include Dr. Faiza Mushtaq Dean and Executive Director and Mr. Umair Saeed, Registrar-IVS, Ms. Raheela from SABSU and Dr. Samina Zia Sheikh, Look After Dean Faculty of FP2A Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design and Heritage Sukkur.
After the meeting, the delegates visited various departments of the institution and met the faculty members.
During the meeting, teacher exchange programs were proposed by the VC Aror University Sukkur for more opportunities to students in various courses. Faculty of IVS was also invited to contribute in various programs at Aror University Sukkur. The VC SABSU proposed teacher training programs to be arranged using online platforms.
Faculty & Admin evaluations were some of the significant points discussed at the end of the meeting. The learned members suggested to have collaborations among institutions by organizing seminars, lectures, conferences and setting unified standards and promoting art and design in the region.
