Aror University Sukkur had the honor of hosting a delegation from the U.S. Consulate General Karachi, USEFP, and EducationUSA, comprising Mr. Salman Rajani, Mr. Belal Rizvi, Ms. Fizza Abid, Mr. Zulfiqar Bhutto, and Ms. Aamna Chandna.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by Prof. Dr. Zahid Hussain Khand, Vice Chancellor, Aror University, who highlighted the university’s vision, academic growth, and strong commitment to international collaboration.
A comprehensive presentation on Aror University’s academic structure, degree programs, faculty strengths, and global engagement initiatives was delivered by Mr. Shoukat Ali Abbasi, Director Human Resources & Coordinator Global Engagement, along with Dr. Zamir Abro, Dean, Faculty of Development.
During the meeting, the delegation held detailed discussions with faculty heads regarding existing and potential degree programs, and other language courses, and opportunities to enhance students’ academic and professional skills. Special focus was also given to the Lincoln Corner initiative, exploring possibilities for collaboration, student-centered activities, access to academic resources, and cultural exchange programs at Aror University.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the delegation was honored with souvenirs and traditional Ajrak, presented by the worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Zahid Hussain Khand, as a gesture of hospitality and cultural respect.
