Our guest speaker, Dr. Alaa Ababneh from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, joined us virtually and shared her remarkable journey in civil engineering, digital heritage, 3D reconstruction, and virtual archaeology. Her work with laser scanning, AI applications, and advanced documentation technologies gave our students a deeper look into the future of heritage technology.
Students, faculty members, and guests gathered in the Senate Hall and engaged actively throughout the session. The discussion sparked curiosity, motivation, and a renewed interest in the role of women leading innovation in heritage and engineering.
