A comprehensive briefing session on the Pakistan Precept Standards & Guidelines for Quality Assurance in Higher Education 2023 (PSG-23) was held at Aror University on August 28th, 2025. The session was chaired by the Worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Engr. Zahid Hussain Khand, and attended by all Academic and Administrative Heads of the university.

The session was facilitated by the newly appointed Director of the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), Mr. Babar Ali, who provided an in-depth overview of the PSG-23 framework. He elaborated on its key components, strategic objectives, and the roadmap for effective implementation across academic and administrative units.

In his concluding remarks, the Vice Chancellor emphasized the importance of rigorous implementation of quality assurance processes, with particular attention to closing the loop—ensuring that feedback and evaluations lead to tangible improvements. He reiterated that quality assurance is a shared responsibility, and expressed confidence in collective progress, stating:  

> “InshaALLAH, we will improve together.”

The session marked a significant step toward strengthening the university’s commitment to excellence and continuous improvement in higher education
