Program Objectives
BS Digital Art program intends to:
- Equip students with hands-on skillsin artmarket-standard software,manual, and digital tools.
- Instill a deep understanding of digital art fundamentals such as color theory, photography, videography, digital drawing and multiple visual hierarchy to create aesthetically pleasing and impactful visuals.
- Engaging students in diverse art related projects and real-world experience, promoting creative and imaginative solutions.
- Provide students with a solid foundation in art history and contemporary art theory to contextualize their work and inspire informed artistic practice.
- Encourage students to engage critically with innovative ideas, developing the ability to analyze, articulate and commercialize, their creative expression and vision to global and local cultural contexts.
- Develop Entrepreneurial skills to equip students with the tools to navigate the art industry, including gallery interactions, marketing strategies, grant writing, and project management, preparing them for careers as digital practitioners.
- Guide studentsin developing a strong and diverse portfolio showcasing their skills and creativity, preparing them for competitive job markets and career opportunities.
- Provide insights into current trends, technologies, and practices in the digital art and creative Art platforms, ensuring students are aware of and can adapt the innovative changes.
- Equip students with the digital experience and professional skills necessary to pursue a variety of roles in the fine and digital arts fields.
- Develop proficiency in diverse artistic media and techniques, fostering technical expertise in both digital and contemporary art practices.
