The house was Chaired by the Worthy Vice Chancellor of AU Sukkur, Prof. Dr. Zahid Hussain Khand, and it brought together a distinguished Academic Council member Prof. Mussarat Mirza, Former Head of Fine Arts Sindh University Jamshoro. And Prof. Dr. Shehnila Zardari, Professor Department of CS & IT NED University Karachi, and Prof. Dr. Noor Ahmed Memon, Dean of Faculty of Engineering QUEST Nawabshah joined the meeting online.
The following agenda items were brought under discussion and further ratification, recommendation, and approval.
The council approved the Schemas, PEOs, and PLOs of BS Visual Arts, BS Fashion Design, BS Textile Design, BS History, BS Archaeology, B. Architecture, BS Environmental Science, and BS Civil Engineering. And also approved and recommended New Undergrad 4 Year Degree Programs such as BS Ceramic Design, BS Multimedia and Gaming, BS Tourism & Hospitality and BS Artificial Intelligence with Mission, PEOs, and PLOs to be presented in the Syndicate for subsequent approval.
The council also approved and recommended the Academic Calendar for the academic year 2023-24, ratified Examination Policy and SOPs, approved Admissions Policy 2023-24, discussed and approved the Vision, Mission, and Core Values of the University and the draft of the Logo Design of the University.
The 2nd meeting of the Academic Council was ended with a vote of thanks by Chair.
