Fluid Mechanics & Hydrology Laboratory
The Fluid Mechanics and Hydrology Laboratory at Aror University provides students with practical exposure to the fundamentals of fluid flow, hydraulics, and water resources engineering. Students learn essential concepts such as pressure measurement, energy losses in pipes, flow through channels, pipes, and the behavior of hydraulic machines. The lab also introduces them to hydrological processes including rainfall effects, river flow measurement, sediment transport, riverbed behavior, and the working of hydraulic structures like weirs, flumes, dams, and spillways. By linking classroom theory with real-world applications, the lab strengthens analytical, design, and problem-solving skills, preparing students to address modern challenges in water resources and environmental sustainability.A List of available equipment is shown below:
