Biography

Dr. Altaf Alam Noonari is currently working as an Associate Professor and Head of Department of Environmental Sciences at Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design and Heritage, Sukkur, Pakistan. Dr. Altaf obtained a PhD. and M.E in Environmental Engineering from the Mehran University of Engineering and Technology Jamshoro, Pakistan. He has vast diverse professional and academic experience. He is PhD approved supervisor of HEC, Pakistan Dr. Altaf also worked on the different HEC research projects. His research portfolios also include biomass conversion, anaerobic digestion, lignocellulosic pretreatments, waste to energy, water and wastewater treatment, solid waste management, and air pollution. Dr. Alam has published more than 25 full-length research papers in well-regarded International and National scientific journals having good impact factor journals. And good scientific papers were presented at the International and National Conferences. He is expanding the scope of work to deepen understanding of climate changes, microbial interactions, waste management practices, climate change and sustainable development. Furthermore, his interdisciplinary approach integrates science and sustainability to address global environmental challenges and advance long-term, eco-friendly development solutions.
