Faculty of Heritage

Introduction

The Faculty of Heritage at Aror University stands at the crossroads of history, culture, and memory. Situated in the heartland of one of the world’s oldest civilizations — the Indus Valley — we are uniquely positioned to lead heritage education in Pakistan and the broader region.

Our faculty brings together scholars, field archaeologists, historians, tourism professionals, and heritage managers committed to understanding, preserving, and promoting Pakistan’s extraordinarily rich cultural legacy — from the ruins of Mohenjo-daro and Kot Diji to the living traditions of Sindhi art, music, and craft.

Through fieldwork, archival research, community engagement, and partnerships with international heritage organizations, our students develop the knowledge and practical skills to work in archaeology, museum management, cultural tourism, academic research, and public policy.
