Ceramic Design
Our mission is to inspire and educate a new generation of ceramic designers, fostering creativity, innovation, and technical excellence in a supportive, collaborative environment.
The BS Ceramic program is a four-year undergraduate degree preparing students for careers in the ceramics industry, combining traditional ceramics techniques with modern technology. The curriculum covers ceramics history, materials and processes, design principles, surface decoration, and firing and glazing — alongside the latest ceramic technology, including CAD software, 3D printing, and laser cutting.
Students gain hands-on access to modern equipment to create functional and decorative pieces blending traditional and modern elements, while also learning the business side of ceramics — marketing, pricing, and selling their work.
