The 2nd Board of Studies (BOS) meeting for the BS Pakistan Studies Program was held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Qasim Sodhar, Chairman Department of History and Pakistan Studies.
The curriculum of the BS Pakistan Studies Program was updated according to the suggestions of National Curriculum Review Committee (NCRC).
Dr. Shuja Mahesar (Professor at Pakistan Study Centre, University of Sindh, Jamshoro), Dr. Siraj Ahmed Soomro (Associate Professor at the Department of Pakistan Studies, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur), Dr. Saeed Rid (Associate Professor at National Institute of Pakistan Studies, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, and Dr. Manzoor Veesrio (Assistant Professor at National Institute of Pakistan Studies, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad) attended the meeting as external members. Mr. Zahid Ali (Lecturer in FOH) attended the meeting as an internal member, and Mr. Kamran Siraj (Lecturer in FOH) attended the meeting as a special invitee.
All the agendas of the meeting were discussed and suggestions were taken from the experts to align the course scheme with HEC requirements.
