December 14, 2024-Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design & Heritage Sukkur convened its 3rd Meeting of the Senate, marking a significant milestone in the University’s continued dedication to academic excellence and governance. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zahid Hussain Khand, with the permission of the Chief Minister Sindh. It was attended by a distinguished Senate members from various educational, governmental, and professional backgrounds.

The Senate proceedings commenced with the confirmation of the minutes from the 2nd Senate meeting, reinforcing the University’s commitment to transparency and procedural integrity. Key agenda items included the approval of the Revised Budget for FY 2024-25, the Budget Estimates for 2024-2025, and the Annual Audited Accounts for the year 2022-2023. The Senate also approved the University’s ambitious Strategic Plan 2023-2030, a roadmap for Aror Universityโs growth and academic development.
Another notable accomplishment was the discussion and approval of the Service Statutes-2022, and the amendments to the Aror University Sindh Act IX of 2020, which was passed by the Provincial Assembly of Sindh. These developments reflect the University’s ongoing commitment to improving its governance framework.
The meeting concluded on a high note with the Senate members applauding the efforts of the Honourable Vice Chancellor and his team. Their hard work and vision have transformed Aror University into a thriving hub of education and innovation. Senate members reaffirmed their continuous support for the University’s management and vowed to help elevate its academic and professional standing both nationally and internationally.
