The 7th Meeting of the Syndicate of Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design and Heritage, Sukkur was held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, under the chairmanship of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Engr. Zahid Hussain Khand.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Sohail Anwer Balouch, Special Secretary, Universities & Boards Department, Government of Sindh; Mr. Sulaiman Ahmad, Incharge/Director, HEC Regional Centre, Karachi; Mr. Khalid Mehmood Soomro, Former Civil Servant; Mr. Adnan A. Kehar, Certified Public Accountant; Mr. Ihsanullah Laghari, Additional Director (BS-19), College Education Department; Hafiz Rafeeque Ahmed Soomro, Eminent Scholar (Aalim); Ms. Zaib-un-Nisa Mangi, Former Director of School Education; Prof. Dr. Zamir Abro, Dean, Faculty of Design; Syed Shaiq Ali Musavi, Registrar (Look-After); Dr. Nadia Samo, Controller of Examinations; Mr. Shoukat Ali Abbasi, Director HR (Special Invitee); and Mr. Abdul Haleem Soomro, Director Finance (Special Invitee).
The members appreciated the Vice Chancellor and his team for their consistent efforts and meaningful contributions toward strengthening the academic and administrative functions of the University.
The Syndicate unanimously approved all agenda items presented during the meeting. These included the report on decisions of the previous Syndicate Meeting, confirmation of minutes of 7th & 8th Selection Board, appointment of a member to the Selection Board, and the recommendations of the 6th Finance and Planning Committee. On Financial Matters, the Chair also briefed the house on the actual expenditure for FY 2024–25, the Defined Contribution Pension Scheme, and the establishment of the Aror Learning Institute (ALI).
