Aror University Sukkur in collaboration with the Hope for All Social Development Organization, hosted an engaging panel discussion titled “Breaking the Silence: Understanding Mental Health.” The speakers included experts in the field, such as Dr. Zulifqar Rahujo, Dr. Haresh Kumar, and Ms. Sobia Falak Rao, the Assistant Commissioner of Sukkur, who shared valuable insights into the root causes of mental health issues and possible solutions. Ms. Rabia Mirza, Chairperson of the Hope for All Organization, along with Dr. Qasim Sodhar, addressed the stigmas surrounding mental health and the challenges faced by students.
The session was skillfully moderated by Ms Uzma, a student counsellor with a degree in Psychology.
In conclusion, Prof. Dr Zahid Hussain Khand, Vice-Chancellor of Aror University, delivered closing remarks, praised organizing this important and insightful seminar on mental health, and encouraged that such activities should continue in the university, which creates a positive impact on students.
