The Department of Architecture organized an online seminar on ” Geometry and its basic philosophy in Mughal Art and Architecture” on November 25th . The lecture was delivered by Architect Mir Murtaza Narejo, an expert researcher in Islamic architecture.
Ar. Mir Murtaza started his presentation by referencing geometric methods used in both planning and ornamentation. He further elaborated on the interpretation of various shapes within complex geometric patterns. The session concluded with an engaging question-and-answer segment.
Dr. Waqas Ahmed Mahar, Chairperson of the Department of Architecture, wrapped up the event by sharing his insights on the topic and expressing gratitude to the guest speaker for his valuable contribution.
