The Chinese Consul General in Karachi Mr Yang Yundong hosted a session followed by dinner on promotion of China-Pakistan collaboration in education on December 19, 2024.
It was attended by Chancellors, Vice-Chancellors, Presidents and Rectors of 25 universities of Sindh. Prof Dr Muhammad Ali Shaikh delivered the keynote address & said ” It was wonderful to meet colleagues and friends”. During the discussion, the Vice Chancellor, Aror University Sukkur explained our active collaborations with different Chinese Universities related with exchange of students for one semester and MS/PhD scholarship program for faculty members. He also discussed future collaboration in developing joint research centers for the Chinese Companies working in Pakistan and Chinese student exchange programs in Winter & alignment of curriculum as per the requirements of the industry.
All the suggestions were welcomed by the Counsel General His Excellency Yang Yundong.
