On November 06, 2024-Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design & Heritage Sukkur, in collaboration with Bhittai Social Watch & Advocacy (BSWA) hosted a two day training workshop on “role of academic institutions in peace building” delivered by Dr Ali Raza Lashari (assistant professor, SALU) along with his team including Mr. Khadim Hussain Mirani (Executive Director, BSWA) and Prof. Dr. Taj Muhammad Lashari (Academic Advisor, BSWA).
The session was started with opening remarks and welcome note by Ms. Uzma Khatoon (student Counselor) and Mr. Arif Hussain (Assistant director HR) of the Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design and Heritage.
The session aimed to equip students with the role of youth participation in building peaceful communities and encouraged self-accountability practices.
Dr Pir Suhail Ahmed Sarhandi, the Registrar of Aror University, concluded the session with his opinions on of active indulgence of students in peace building starting from home and institutions.
The training was ended with a certificate distribution ceremony and vote of thanks by the coordination bodies.
