On August 5, 2025, Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design and Heritage Sukkur organized a Solidarity Walk to observe Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir, reaffirming support for the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). Faculty, students, and staff participated to express unity with Kashmiris in their struggle for freedom. Vice Chancellor Prof. Engr. Zahid Hussain Khand condemned India’s 2019 unilateral actions and reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support for Kashmiri self-determination. Dr Qasim Sodhar highlighted the historical roots of the Kashmir dispute and stressed educating youth on its geopolitical importance. The university reaffirmed its commitment to human rights advocacy and solidarity with Kashmiris in their pursuit of peace and justice.
