On 19–20 June 2025, Dr. Akhtar H. Lashari, Director of QEC, recently had the privilege of attending the Progress Review Meetings hosted by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) at Aga Khan University, Karachi.
The two-day event was a remarkable platform for:
- Reviewing institutional progress on 2024-25 quality assurance targets
- Addressing challenges in RIPE implementation and SAR compliance under PREE standards
- Engaging with leaders on HEC-QAD policies, including graduate education, anti-plagiarism, and faculty development
- Networking with peers to share best practices and innovative solutions for elevating academic quality
