Biography

Dr. Ali Aijaz Shar is a computer scientist with a Ph.D. from Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur, specializing in deep learning applications for e-learning systems. His doctoral research developed a CNN+LSTM-based facial emotion recognition system for real-time student engagement detection, achieving ~87% accuracy at 15 fps on consumer hardware. With over seven years of teaching and curriculum design experience across Pakistani universities, his current research interests span deep learning, human-computer interaction, and AI-driven educational technology.
