Dr. Khalid Hussain
Assistant Professor and Chairman In-Charge, Department of Artificial Intelligence, Multimedia Gaming & Cyber Security Faculty of Emerging Sciences and Technology Dr. Khalid Hussain is an Assistant Professor at Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design and Heritage, Sukkur, and currently serves as Chairman In-Charge of the Department of Artificial Intelligence, Multimedia Gaming & Cyber Security. He also serves as the Program Coordinator for the BS Cyber Security program. Before joining Aror University, Dr. Hussain worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Electro-Optical Communication Group at Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlands. His postdoctoral research focused on low-latency optical network systems for 6G communications, particularly the integration of wireless and optical access and metro networks. He received his PhD in Electronic Science and Technology, with specialization in Optical Engineering, from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China. He also holds an MS/MPhil in Computer Science with specialization in Wireless Networks and a BS degree in Telecommunication. His research interests include optical communication networks, 5G and 6G networks, wireless and mobile networks, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence for communication networks, network simulation, Internet of Things, and intelligent routing systems. He has research and development experience using C++, Python, MATLAB, OMNeT++, INET, Simu5G, NS-2, and NS-3. At Aror University, Dr. Hussain is actively involved in teaching, research, curriculum development, academic coordination, accreditation activities, and the development of emerging programs in Artificial Intelligence, Multimedia Gaming, and Cyber Security. His current research interests also include AI-enabled cyber threat detection, intelligent networking, and the integration of artificial intelligence with next-generation communication and cybersecurity systems.Education
