Biography
Engr. Abdul Manan is a passionate engineering educator and a registered engineer with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). He joined the Department of Civil Engineering at Aror University as a Lecturer in August 2025, bringing with him a strong blend of academic instruction, administrative leadership, and industry experience.
Prior to his appointment at Aror University, Engr. Abdul Manan served as a Lecturer and Program Coordinator at Hamdard University, Karachi. During his tenure there, he played a pivotal role in the department’s institutional growth, successfully spearheading the PEC Zero Visit accreditation process for the Civil Engineering program and facilitating the National Technology Council (NTC) accreditation visits. He was also a key coordinator during the Charter Inspection and Evaluation Committee (CIEC) visit by the Sindh Higher Education Commission. His academic career began as a Laboratory Engineer, where he managed state-of-the-art laboratory operations and implemented hands-on learning procedures to bridge theoretical concepts with real-world applications.
Beyond academia, Engr. Abdul Manan has practical industry experience as a Civil Engineer with A.G Construction Company, where he supervised site operations, managed technical documentation, and ensured strict compliance with quality, measurements, and safety standards.
At Aror University, he is committed to cultivating the next generation of engineers by delivering industry-relevant education, mentoring students for professional readiness, and contributing to the university’s mission of driving innovation and sustainable development within Pakistan's infrastructure landscape.
