Engr. Abdul Manan

Engr. Abdul Manan is a Lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering at Aror University and a registered engineer with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Master’s degree in Construction Management. He joined Aror University in August 2025, bringing experience in engineering education, academic coordination, accreditation processes, laboratory management, and the construction industry.

Prior to joining Aror University, he served at Hamdard University, Karachi, where he worked as a Lecturer and Program Coordinator in the Civil Engineering program. During his tenure, he contributed significantly to academic and institutional development, including coordination of the PEC Zero Visit for the Civil Engineering program, facilitation of National Technology Council (NTC) accreditation activities, and coordination during the Charter Inspection and Evaluation Committee (CIEC) visit conducted by the Sindh Higher Education Commission. He began his academic career as a Laboratory Engineer, where he managed civil engineering laboratory operations and supported practical learning through laboratory and field-based instruction.

Engr. Abdul Manan also possesses professional industry experience as a Civil Engineer with A.G Construction Company. His responsibilities included supervision of construction activities, preparation and management of technical documentation, verification of measurements, and monitoring compliance with quality and safety requirements.

His academic and professional interests include construction management, sustainable infrastructure, engineering education, and the integration of contemporary technologies into civil engineering practice. At Aror University, he is engaged in teaching, student mentoring, academic development, and initiatives aimed at preparing future civil engineers to address contemporary infrastructure and sustainability challenges.
