Biography
Engr. Shuban Ali is a civil engineering academic, researcher, and registered engineer with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). He serves as a Lecturer at Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design & Heritage, Sukkur, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Civil Engineering at Shenzhen University, China.
His research interests include structural engineering, sustainable construction materials, structural health monitoring, distributed fiber-optic sensing, and infrastructure performance assessment. His research aims to integrate advanced sensing technologies and sustainable engineering practices to improve the safety, resilience, and long-term performance of civil infrastructure.
At Aror University, he teaches undergraduate civil engineering courses and contributes to laboratory development, practical training, academic quality assurance, accreditation, and institutional reporting. He has served as Assistant Director of the Quality Enhancement Cell, Former Program In-charge, and In-charge of Commercial Laboratory Testing.
Engr. Shuban Ali has authored and co-authored several research publications and serves as a peer reviewer for three international journals. His academic, administrative, research, and field experience enables him to connect engineering theory with practical applications and contribute to the development of sustainable and resilient infrastructure.Education
