Biography
Ar. Faraz Hussain is a registered architect with the Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners (PCATP) and a Lecturer in the Department of Architecture at Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design and Heritage, Sukkur. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET), Jamshoro.
As a lecturer, he teaches both studio and theory courses, including Architectural Design Studio, Interior Design, Universal Design, Architectural Psychology, History of Art and Architecture, Drafting Studio, Building Materials and Construction, and Computer-Aided Architectural Design (CAAD). His teaching focuses on fostering critical thinking, creativity, and the integration of academic learning with professional practice.
Alongside his academic role, Faraz has experience in architectural design, planning, visualization, and construction. His portfolio includes residential and commercial developments, public parks, police stations, pathology laboratories, Mother and Child Healthcare Units, hospitals, housing schemes, farmhouses, and institutional projects. His work spans the complete project lifecycle, from concept development and design to working drawings, visualization, site coordination, and project execution.
He is proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, and Adobe Photoshop, using these tools to develop technical documentation and architectural visualizations. He has also worked as a freelance architect on Fiverr and Upwork, collaborating with local and international clients on a variety of architectural design and visualization projects.
